Double Room in Walthamstow. - 1st of September The menial stuff - Deposit of 1 month rent £485 - Rent is £485 per calendar month per room (we pay always the 1st of each month) - Bills per person: All is split in halves: - Water rates are included in the rent, - Electricity and gas £22.50 per calendar month per person is a flat tarif, however we can try to work it out to spend less; - Council tax £42 a month (£84 per calendar month in total). - We have Virgin Media package and we pay £30.50 so it adds up 15, 25 per person. - The TV licence £12.13 - So bills come up between £95 -100 on top of the rent. - total of 577 per month - please note that if you are a couple you are welcome but the figures for the utility bills will be split in 3 equal parts and the rent figure will be still split into 2 (485 per room) - The landlord requires proof of income and references from previous landlords. - Smoking in the flat or out of the window is a no-no. - visitors are more than welcome is your house too so anyone that you invite is welcome. Hiya! I’ve got to fill the place in a cosy but bright 2 bed flat on Walthamstow in early September. You’ll be sharing with me, a 32 year old Spanish girl working for national charity that works with homeless people and my little lovely cat. Away from work I spend most of my time at the gym or studying my masters degree apart from going out from time to time with friends or visits from Spain (I receive quite a few along the year). Otherwise I’m pretty relaxed and sociable, with other interests including photography and digital edition, reading & writing, good food, pubs, sports, watch movies, going to cinema, listening to any kind of music (from pop, rock, punk, house, tech… Anything that sounds good… ) going to museums exhibitions and travelling is my passion. Ideally, you’ll be around my age, friendly and sociable but not overbearing, tidy but not ridiculously anal. As with most ads on here, I’m looking for someone I can have some drinks and a good moan about life with now and again, and maybe even cook with if we share a taste in food. You should also prefer doing most of your partying out and about rather than at home, however once in a while is acceptable but my working pattern is on rota so I work most weekends. It’s a double well sized room, fairly modern and full of light (top floor flat) with thick double-glazed windows. There won’t be a great deal cluttering it up either (wardrobe, a bed and a desk are already there) you will be able to fill up with nice bits of furniture. There’s also a clean and modern bathroom with in-bath shower and a separate toilet, and a quite good sized kitchen and a big living area. The standard of decor is slightly above average for London flatshares, with wooden floors throughout and pleasant lighting and nicely decorated walls- basically it’s just a fairly nice pleasant space. The location is great, a whole host of buses are within 10 minutes (Walthamstow Central Bus Station), plus buses taking you to the tube in less than 5 minutes (34, 97, 215 and 357) and night buses N26 (that leaves you at the front door of the house) and N73 less than 10 minutes walk from the stop (38 night bus goes to Walthamstow central station as well, plus many others), you are close to Walthamstow central Station (less than 10 minutes walk) and less than 10 minutes by 123 from Blackhorse Road and 15 minutes from Tottenham Hale (45 minutes to Stansted Airport). From the house you can take 97 which leave you at Stratford City Westfield (30 minutes). Also from the station there are trains that take you directly to Liverpool Street (20 minutes). And you can reach Oxford circus in less than 35 minutes with the Victoria line. There’s also a large ASDA very close by within Walthamstow Shopping Centre, also the market itself with fresh fruit and vegetables, Sainsbury’s, Wilkinson’s, Lidl, Fishermen shops and local groceries shops with a large range of different foods all within less than 10 minutes away from the house. Downstairs there is an off licence that is always handy if you forgot to buy something and don’t want to come back, and a chicken and chips shop is across the road. In less than 5 minutes you can reach to the Walthamstow Leisure centre that has swimming pool and you can attend to classes or workout at the gym floor. GP surgery is close also in less than 10 minutes, the closest hospital is Whips Cross and bus 357 (just at the front door of the house) takes you there within 20 minutes. Bus 34 will take you to IKEA and TESCO in Edmonton I’m really looking to find the right person to live with, preferably somebody for the long run - so if it sounds like we’d get on, drop me an email telling me a bit about yourself and we can arrange a time to meet up and have a chat!
